Using an ActivateYYC grant the Parkdale Community Association was able to install court lines and a net for pickleball in our outdoor rink. This helped them provide more opportunities for a greater variety of demographics to utilize our existing outdoor space.

What surprised the Parkdale CA the most was the volume of people who were excited at the prospect of having pickleball in the community, as well as seeing young kids take advantage of the courts and using the paddles and equipment they had available to the public.
