The Chinatown BIA designed, built, painted, and placed eight park-style benches across Chinatown. Community seniors assembled and painted these benches while wiping paint off each other’s faces and laughing like little kids. This helped to promote community connections and engagement while creating a contribution. This activity brought 12-15 volunteers with the same amount of participants at the cost of $11,416.27.
