With the assistance of ActivateYYC funding Springboard was able to light up and beautify the public space at the containR art park and community hub. The murals reflect the thoughts and ideas of the neighbourhood and the lights offer safety and a touch of whimsey to the public spaces. Together, the lights and painting inspire the community with a vibrant and reflexive site that captures the zeitgeist of the community.

The project brought students, neighbours and artists together to build capacity and activate possibility for the containR art park and Sunnyside community.
