Throughout the week leading up to August 5th, the BIA worked with Rachael Meckling, an artist originally from Calgary, to bring colour and happiness to a sitting area in Montgomery. The idea behind the project was to improve the sitting area and have people stop and enjoy the space, to bring a feeling of safety and fun and to have people slow down to relax in the area.

During the final day, the group also hosted musicians, facepainters, and a table for artists of all ages to create their own murals complete with their own easel for displaying in their own home.
