Cedarbrae Community Centre Outdoor Picnic Table

Cedarbrae Community Centre Outdoor Picnic Table

The Cedarbrae Community Centre purchased and installed a new picnic table on the east side of their building. The new picnic table has been many things since it was installed: a place for families to picnic, a place for seniors to enjoy a good book under the shade of a tree, a lemonade stand for some young entrepreneurs but the most fun of all was when it was turned into a pirate island with goodies and treats for children having a treasure hunt around the grounds.

This project was brought to life with the help of five volunteers and five participants at the cost of $1,128. A small price to pay to foster the creativity and engagement of the Cedarbrae community!
