A construction fence was completely decorated with colourful ribbons in collaboration with the East Village Neighborhood Association (EVNA) to create a welcoming beacon for the neighborhood and to hide the construction rubble of the abandoned lot.

With seven volunteers, 50 participants and an overall cost of $981.25, many people from outside of the community even visited to help with the project!
