Knox Presbyterian Church utilized their $1000 Walk, Play and Be Neighbourly grant to paint a mural on a container they had in their back alley. The church invited school kids from their neighbourhood to help design and paint the mural. The class came in 2 one hour shifts and paint the mural that was prepared as a paint-by-numbers template. They completed their work and had fun doing so. This allowed for what was once a space to be turned into a place.
