On September 17, 2022, Symons Valley Leisure and Amenities Society organized and hosted a movie in the park with a giant outdoor screen, music, bouncy houses, VIVO loose parts, and a food truck rally. Roughly 300 people from Kincora, Sage Hill, Sherwood, Nolan Hill and all over the NW Calgary area came and enjoyed the event.
