In honour of the 40th birthday of Parkland Hall, a rainbow coloured buddy bench was installed to provide a seating area for all residents in the community to use. The rainbow bench is brightly coloured which represents inclusiveness is placed facing the community garden in front of the Calgary Parkland Community Hall. This was done with the help of three volunteers, but has already attracted 1500 participants and counting at the cost of only $1,977.
