The Chaparral Community Association dreamed up a project that consisted of a Little Free Library (Read in Colour), a walking map of neighborhood libraries as well as a Geocache (Read in the Garden) coming together into one fun-filled event to engage the community. Members of the community thoroughly enjoyed the local artists, trekking the southeast finding geocaches, meeting new community members and having an event to celebrate summer.

After some delays due to conflicting schedules with contractors during the busy summer season, 10 volunteers and 50 participants came together for this day of interactive fun for a cost of $947.69.
