Community members designed a simple but effective bump out area at Woodborough Park. It has created a welcoming entrance and designates the space as Woodborough Park. After creating the space, people commented:

“now we know where we are.” 

“Thanks for making it safer to cross the road.”

“The flower arrangements in the large concrete boxes are absolutely gorgeous. Well done!”

The group also worked with the Parks Department to get “free” planters for the space, worked with Road to determine location, painting options and planter placement, and had to update our Optional Amenities Agreement with the City of Calgary.
