YYC Audio Experience

YYC Audio Experience

The YYC Audio Experience was just that: an experience! Participants were instructed to download the needed audio file to their smartphones and meet at the Eau Claire Plaza at 6pm sharp. Then the participants were to wear headphones to be as discreet as possible. Once the clock struck 6pm the audio file began playing and guided listeners through hilarious and fun tasks and activities. Over 250 people participated in the event, and the Canadian Cultural Mosaic Foundation was pleased to see how involved each participant was.

This event engaged Calgarians of all ages, and even children were telling the organizers how much fun they had. The organizers needed to get a permit to host this event in a public park, so part of the $900 ActivateYYC grant was used to purchase the permit. The rest of the grant went towards the technical aspects of the event
